Company Director Jim Sheehan set up the company in 2005 with his wife Breda.  At a time when major operators were looking to outsourcing their operations Jim saw opportunity in the telecommunications sector for a highly skilled and specialist company to provide non-core activities to major operators. Six years on he has a staff of over 90 employees, four offices nationally and internationally, Inter-trade Ireland Business Ambassador 2011, has been a finalist in the Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of the Year Awards 2009 and won numerous awards through the SFA.  None of which could have been achieved without the strong management team behind him. 

Breda Co-founded Surecom with Jim in 2005. With a PhD in Marketing and Management Breda, along with other members of management team, has driven Surecom to develop and realise the overall aims, objectives and strategies of the organisation. Responsible for the overall marketing strategy for the company, development of marketing plans and strategies, managing the customer service/relationship function of the business. Breda holds invaluable knowledge and experienced born out through her academic and professional background. An expert in her field Breda has written numerous publications covering topics such as SME internationalisation and the telecommunications industry.

Martin Gallagher stepped up in February 2010 to take on the role of managing director for Surecom Network Solutions. Martin, who has been Operations Manager with Surecom for over six years held operational responsibility for Network teams, developing company and department strategies with strong focus on customer relationship. It was during this time that Martin developed critical business management systems within the organisations resulting in continuous ISO and OHSAS accreditations.  

Aine O’Donnell joined the Surecom team in 2006 with over two decades of financial control experience, has played a key role in assisting the development and growth of Surecom and its subsidiaries in an operational, commercial and financial role. Aine has developed key systems in analysis and micro management of the business which has contributed to Surecom’s ability to succeed.  

Matt Talbot took up the position of Operations Manager in February 2010. Until then Matt held the position of Network Build Manager after joining Surecom in 2008. Here he was responsible for project and personnel management, process development for repeater and network builds for some of the largest operators in the telecommunications industry. Key to Matt’s management capacity is his ability to offer expertise in technical support to his staff and colleagues alike. 

Martin Cavanagh joined Surecom in January 2010 to take up the role as  Commercial Manager with Surecom and has brought invaluable knowledge and experience with him. With over ten years telecommunications experience and six years management experience Martin has gained vast experience of both legacy systems and also emerging technologies. Martin has a proven track record of delivering innovative and cost effective solutions to the client’s needs. Graduate of University of Limerick Liam has extensive training and experience in telecommunications sector. Seven years spent working with one of Irelands leading mobile operators Liam joined the Surecom team in 2007. Taking up the role of radio manager and with extensive customer liaisons, commissioning and implementation of new technologies and coordination and management of engineers Liam has been instrumental in developing Surecom's technical capability. 

With a strong technical and naval background Pat has been health and Safety manager from the birth of Surecom. Pat has developed Surecom H&S department to meet, and surpass, customer and authorising body’s standards. Pat drove the implementation of H&S policies and Quality Management Systems and has played an integral role in helping Surecom become accredited in ISO 19001 and OHSAS 18001 since 2008.
